Day 9 (Monday June 19)

Today, we said goodbye to Nama and then took the RER to Paris. We walked around the left bank and had lunch there. Mainly our family had vegetables. T and my mom had salad. I had mozzarella and tomatoes. Dad had some weird looking stuffed vegetable thing that he thought was good. We saw some photographers taking pictures of a girl whose hair had a lot of hair spray in it. After eating lunch we went to get ice cream (really gelato from an Italian place). It was very good. We all had a variety of ice cream:bannana, mango, chocolate, and lemon. After this, we walked to Luxembourg gardens. These gardens were interesting because they were run by the government, they had strict regulations such as you can only walk on one patch of grass. After the walk, we caought a train for one stop and then we got on another train for one stop. Then we went on the metro for two stops and then we caught another metro for one stop. When we finaly got to the Picasso museum(the reason for all the train and metro stops)we started to look at the artwork. There were lots of different types of artwork. T drew some and I took some photos. We were all tired and decided to head home on the RER. Of course, we stopped at the grocery store on the way home and now it is time for dinner. Tomorrow we go to the World Cup!
